Work-study programme for the ISUPFERE energy engineering speciality (FC)

The training cycle begins with a 6-month “harmonisation cycle” consisting of a period of refresher training. This is followed by a 2-year “Ingénieur” cycle leading to the award of the “Ingénieur” title.

Harmonisation cycle (approx. 240 minimum)

Mechanics, Electricity, Mathematics, Chemistry, Energy, Written synthesis

Engineering cycle (1200h)

The course is divided into 4 modules:

  • Regulation, control command and networks (220 hours) : Measurement chains, automation and regulation
  • Engineering Management Methods (300 hours): Project Management, Functioning of Organisations, Economic Calculation, Team Management, Technical Synthesis and Decision Support
  • Communication and ICT (200 hours): English, Information systems, communication
  • Energetics (360 hours): Thermodynamics, Machines, Heat and mass transfer, Fluid mechanics, Climatic engineering, Electrical engineering, Energy optimisation
  • Preparing the engineering dissertation (120 hours): Industrial safety, Regulations, Legal aspects, Environment

In-company training involves carrying out projects related to the training programme. The acquisition of in-company skills is validated by the writing of dissertations on in-company projects and their oral presentation.
