Initially focused on the challenges of mining to meet the energy needs of large-scale industrialisation, the school is now committed to the fields of ecological transition and digital transformation.

At each of its sites, Mines Paris – PSL is a key player in the innovation ecosystem, contributing to promising projects that bring together companies, start-up incubators and accelerators and the academic world. In this way, the School facilitates and enhances the ability of each party to confront and work together, and gives its partners access to this dynamic of innovation.
This collaborative approach to teaching and research combines international, social and multidisciplinary dimensions. Our entrepreneurial dynamic is embodied by the engineers and research professors at Mines Paris – PSL, who are committed players at the heart of the PSL ecosystem and innovation ecosystems.
