The Institut Carnot M.I.N.E.S
The Institut Carnot M.I.N.E.S puts academic excellence at the service of partnership research and innovation. Mines Paris – PSL has been awarded the Carnot label through its involvement in the Institut Carnot M.I.N.E.S. The Carnot network accounts for more than half of all partnership research between the public and private sectors in France.

The M.I.N.E.S Carnot Institute, set up in 2006, supports companies of all sizes in strengthening their value chain and developing new sectors:

The Institut Carnot M.I.N.E.S, the benchmark Grande école for partnership research and innovation in the service of industry, is supported by more than 2,500 researchers from 9 Grandes Ecoles throughout France.
A key player in future investment programmes, Institut Carnot M.I.N.E.S contributes to 4 IRTs, 8 IEEDs and provides close support to SMEs and SMIs. It is involved in more than 20 competitiveness clusters, where it applies its approach of proximity and partnership, particularly with SMEs and ETIs.
