Becoming an ecological transition manager in an international context
Since 2007, ENVIM has been training managers in ecological transition and sustainable development for international careers in institutions, companies and organizations where these issues are major challenges.
The course combines theoretical and practical learning, covering the systemic, environmental, political, and social aspects of transition. It provides students with a comprehensive understanding of today’s global challenges, developing analytical tools, and forward-thinking decision-making skills.
These interdisciplinary approaches are particularly valuxteable in diverse multicultural contexts. With strong European ties through partners like Polito di Torino, the program features an annual field trip across Europe. Additionally, it welcomes students from professional Masters Programs in Earth and Environmental Science of the University of Pennsylvania as part of a dual-degree program.
An innovative teaching approach that takes a practical, systemic approach based on international projects
The EnvIM international track offers innovative blended learning sessions, based on international case studies and real-life projects developed in cooperation with experts, companies, consulting firms or NGOs. Thanks to these case studies are considered the five main environmental impacts – Climate, Biodiversity, Pollution, resources, and water – and social impacts as well.
For companies and project managers, ecological transition is not only an environmental issue, taking into account planet boundaries, it includes their many stake holders and all their supply chain, in a changing and complex context.
The MS EEDD, registered in the RNCP under No. 39578 , is accessible through apprenticeship and professionalization contracts and is eligible for the CPF and OPCO.
