MIRIS Specialized Master
The Specialized Master’s degree from Mines Paris – PSL offers an opportunity to specialize or acquire dual skills that are immediately operational in the corporate world.
A comprehensive approach to mining issues
The MIRIS SM program trains experts in the mineral resources industry to support the mining and quarrying sector in the best possible integration of mining projects into their physical and human environment, in consultation with local stakeholders.
The training covers all phases of the project, from development to end-of-life, including mining and ore processing. It combines a technical and economic perspective with a social and environmental approach.
Theoretical and practical training covering all technical aspects
Structured in three parts, the course comprises a 7-month teaching phase with a core curriculum and three options:
- Open-pit and underground mining operations
- Exploration and deposit modeling
- Mineral processing and upgrading
- Location: Fontainebleau or Nancy
- Duration: 12 months
- Languages: English & French
- Cost: €7,500 / €15,000 for companies
