The MS MISL
The Specialized Master’s Degree in Industrial Management (Bac+6): a springboard to careers in supply chain, logistics, and industrial management
This specialized master’s degree is aimed at graduates with a five-year degree (engineering, business school, university master’s) who wish to specialize in supply chain, logistics, and industrial management, particularly after attending an engineering or management school.
Future continuous improvement managers, supply chain managers, consultants, or industrial performance managers: learners will master the fundamental levers of design, planning, control, management, and business strategy.
The MS MISL is a specialized master’s degree from the Confédération des Grandes Écoles, recognized by the French government, dedicated to operations and supply chain management. It aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how organizations work, with a focus on the design, production, and delivery of goods and services. The program covers operations management and process coordination through to final delivery, which is at the heart of supply chain management. Ensuring that the right product arrives at the right place at the right time requires smooth collaboration between internal departments, subsidiaries, suppliers, partners, customers, and authorities.
The mission of the MS MISL is to impart lasting knowledge, enabling learners to distinguish robust concepts from passing fads. The courses incorporate the dimension of sustainable development, where economic, social, and environmental issues intersect. Recent logistical disruptions—port congestion, semiconductor shortages, and the blockage of the Suez Canal—illustrate their impact on employment, access to essential goods, overconsumption, and transportation-related pollution.
A work-study program in supply chain and logistics
The MS MISL is available as a work-study program (apprenticeship or professional training), as initial training or continuing education. This work-study program in supply chain allows students to directly apply the skills they have acquired in the workplace.
It is registered with the RNCP under No. 38103 and is available through apprenticeship and professional training contracts.
True to Mines Paris – PSL’ motto of “Theory and Practice,” the MS MISL program develops analytical skills rooted in real-world situations, which are essential for distinguishing underlying trends from noise in a constantly changing environment.
