Versailles Satory Campus
Opened in 2025, the Mines Paris – PSL Innovation Campus in Versailles Satory brings together research, education, and industrial collaboration on a single site, focusing on major contemporary challenges: advanced materials, the energy transition, robotics, and smart mobility.
Located at the heart of a strategic scientific and technological hub in the Yvelines region, the campus houses three of the School’s research centers in a 13,000-square-meter building designed to foster collaboration among researchers, students, industry partners, and institutional partners. Conceived as an open and collaborative space, it contributes to the development of high-impact research that addresses the needs of society and industry.
A campus deeply rooted in its local community
A strategic location within the Versailles Satory ecosystem

Located in Versailles Satory, within an area historically linked to the defense, transportation, and high-tech sectors, the campus is part of a movement focused on the mobility of the future, decarbonization, and autonomous systems.
The site was designed according to rigorous environmental quality standards. It has been awarded the “Positive Energy and Carbon Reduction Building” (E2C1 level) and “Sustainable Building in the Île-de-France Region” (bronze level) certifications.
The project received significant support from the Yvelines Departmental Council, aimed at strengthening the region’s research, innovation, and technology transfer capabilities.

The campus hosts programs offered by the centers located on campus, which are closely aligned with research activities and industry needs.
The curriculum is based on a teaching approach that combines lectures, applied projects, hands-on work, and immersion in a cutting-edge scientific environment. Students also benefit from close ties with the center’s partner companies.
Among the programs offered:
- Mines Paris – PSL Civil Engineering Program
- Master’s in Biomechanics and Biomaterials Engineering (BME Paris)
- Master’s in Materials Science and Engineering (SGM)
- Specialized Master’s in “Materials and Structures Design” (DMS)
- Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Continuing education for professionals

Library
A place of resources, learning, and openness

Opened in 2026, the André Pineau Library “Le Noyau” is located on the Innovation Campus. Building on the collections of the Materials Center formerly located in Évry, it offers a specialized collection focusing on materials science, energy transition, sustainability, and industrial technologies.
The library is also developing a collection dedicated to the exchange of ideas on contemporary scientific, technological, and environmental issues, as well as a science discovery space for the general public, particularly middle and high school students visiting the campus.
Catering
An accessible food service area
The cafeteria, located on the Versailles Satory Innovation Campus, offers a variety of food options (snacks, hot meals, etc.) provided by the CROUS and available to students, staff, and visitors.
The food service, subsidized by the government, focuses on providing meals at affordable prices.
Designed as a welcoming space, this area encourages social interaction and breaks in a modern, bright environment.

Campus Life
Events, Science Outreach, and Community Engagement

The Versailles Satory campus is developing numerous initiatives to foster collaboration between research, education, and society.
As part of the “Cordées de la réussite” program, outreach activities aimed at raising awareness of scientific careers are organized for middle and high school students in the Yvelines department: immersive campus tours, hands-on workshops, scientific demonstrations, and meetings with the School’s researchers, doctoral students, and engineers. “Women and Science” sessions are also offered to promote scientific careers among young audiences.
The campus also hosts public events such as the Fête de la Science in collaboration with the site’s research centers.
