This event will bring together experts to explore the essential role of economics in assessing the impacts of climate change and developing effective policy responses. Discover how economic tools can be used to evaluate public policies, manage climate-related risks and address the ethical dimensions of climate action.
Overview of presentations:
- Evaluating pro-environmental public policies (N. Guyon, ENS-PSL)
- Economic evaluation of risk management, with a focus on the impacts of climate change (V. Raimond / K. Fiore, ANSES)
- A look back at the historical requirements of the United States in terms of regulatory cost-benefit analysis (CBA), methods for evaluating climate policies and valuing results (L. Robinson, Harvard University)
- Ethical considerations, justice and equity in climate policy design (C. Thébaut, University of Limoges)
This round table offers a unique opportunity to address climate issues from a variety of economic perspectives.
