At Mines Paris – PSL, all first-year engineering students have the opportunity to stay in a double room at the Maison des Mines et des Ponts (commonly known as “La Meuh”), located at 270 rue Saint-Jacques, Paris 5th arrondissement. This opportunity promotes strong cohesion within the class and encourages active participation in student life.
An email detailing accommodation arrangements will be sent to you at the end of July. If you have any further questions, please contact the room coordinators (“piauleurs”) at the following address: piauleurs@minesparis.psl.eu.
Although every first-year student is eligible for a room, it is important not to request a place if it is not necessary, in order to leave places available for second- and third-year students.
The Maison des Mines application, which specifies the accommodation conditions, must be sent by post before August 15, 2025 to the following address:
Maison des Mines et des Ponts et Chaussées
270 Rue Saint-Jacques,
75005 Paris, France
Tuition fees must be paid to the Accounting Officer of the École nationale supérieure des Mines de Paris (ENSMP), in accordance with the registration fees sent electronically.
Scholarship students from Mines Paris – PSL, the Fondation Mines Paris, Campus France (BGF, Eiffel), a foreign government, other foundations, or international dual degree programs are not required to pay tuition fees.
For scholarship recipients from Campus France (BGF, Eiffel), foreign governments, other foundations or organizations, proof of eligibility must be provided. This must be uploaded to OASIS, under the “Administrative” tab.
Tuition fees can be paid in two ways:
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact the ENSMP administration.
The CVEC (Contribution Vie Étudiante et de Campus) is a mandatory contribution of €103.00 for all students. To pay it, please visit the CROUS website before the start of the academic year (see note on the CVEC):
https://cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr/
Once payment has been made, download your payment receipt (or exemption certificate) from OASIS, in the “Attachments” tab. Don’t forget to enter your CVEC certificate number in the ‘General’ tab, in the “CVEC certificate no.” field.
To attend the first class of the year, make sure that the registration fees and CVEC are paid before the start of the academic year, which is September 1, 2025.
Your administrative registration and academic progress will be managed on the OASIS platform once you have received your login details:

L’Abatage (or abattage since 1935) is actually the name of a mining technique that involves extracting rock from a wall. A nice name that is perfectly suited to the Mines alpha brochure!
In this interview, civil engineering students Faustine Lafitte (first year) and Alison Profit (third year) share their experiences at Mines Paris – PSL. Accompanied by Matthieu Mazière, Director of Studies, they answer questions from journalist Guillaume Puchercos about the school, student life, admissions, the program, and career opportunities.
