At the The Transition Institute 1.5 (TTI.5) 2026 Forum organized by Mines Paris – PSL and theFrench Diplomatic and Consular Academy, scientists and diplomats engaged in a discussion on the theme “Environment, Science, and Technology in Foreign Policy Making: What Kind of Science Diplomacy?”

Chloé-Agathe Azencott, a faculty researcher at the Center for Bioinformatics (CBIO) at Mines Paris – PSL, is a computer scientist specializing in the development of machine learning algorithms for biomedical research, particularly the analysis of genomic data.

On this occasion, she participated in a roundtable discussion on the deployment of AI and related challenges, particularly climate impacts and energy trade-offs. In this video, she shares her expertise on the challenges posed by this technological upheaval.
