Success story: Robin Le Conte des Floris promotes Mines Paris – PSL’s international relations with UCL

Robin Le Conte des Floris, who has just graduated from his thesis at PSL on the impact of cognitive biases and the environment on the quality of data and information, has recently enriched his academic career thanks to a fruitful collaboration between PSL and UCL University in London.

Robin Le Conte des Floris, a young doctoral student in the PSL thesis entitled “Effect of cognitive biases and the environment on the quality of data and information”, prepared at Mines Paris and supervised by Pierre Jouvelot (CRI) and Cédric Dalmasso (CGS), had the opportunity to spend two months in autumn 2022 at UCL University (London) in Professor Daniela Romano‘s Department of Information Studies laboratory.

This visit took place as part of a new long-term collaboration between PSL and UCL. To celebrate the first ‘promotion’ of this agreement, a meeting was organised at UCL on 28 February, bringing together the heads of the two universities, representatives of the French and British Ministries of Higher Education and Research, and doctors who have benefited from this agreement.

Robin Le Conte des Floris was able to present his research work, which was particularly appreciated by the French Minister for Higher Education and Research, Sylvie Retailleau.
