The Academy of Technologies

The Académie des technologies is a national public administrative body under the supervision of the Minister for Research and the protection of the President of the French Republic. It has over 300 elected members from a wide range of backgrounds, reflecting the diversity of technologies. It is organised in such a way as to ensure that its work is collegial and relevant: opinions and reports, general guidelines and action programmes are voted on by the plenary assembly.

The Academy’s actions are governed by four key principles: progress, a sense of the general interest, listening and anticipation.
