TTI.5 Environmental Controversy Award

On 31 May, at the Maison de l’Océan in Paris, 3rd year engineering student Maud Roux-Salembien brilliantly presented her controversial project “Beetroot, birds and neonicotinoids”, which won the TTI.5 Environmental Controversy Prize.

This prize is awarded for the best study of a controversy on an environmental issue by students in the Civil Engineering Cycle at Mines Paris – PSL, as part of the course Describing Controversies, supervised by Madeleine Akrich, sociologist and director of research at the Centre de sociologie de l’innovation (CSI Mines Paris – PSL).

Congratulations to Maud for the quality of her presentation, and to her fellow students Sylvain Caillaud, Arsène Ferrière, Léopold Moeneclaey, Grégoire Michel, Aymeric Plessier, Joseph Redaud and Victoire Rossignol, who successfully completed this controversy project.
