Reinventing construction: 3 questions for Sophie Hooge and Antoine Thuillier (FIT2 Chair)
In this video, Sophie Hooge, holder of the Chair in the Future of Industry and Work (ChaireFIT2) and professor at the Center for Scientific Management, and Antoine Thuillier, associate researcher at the chair and alumni of the School, explain how groups of engineers are working to transform the construction industry, which is responsible for more than 50% of greenhouse gas emissions.
Their goal is to understand the forms of collective responsibility at work, identify the levers for collective engagement, and support a systemic transformation of the sector in the face of ecological challenges. This research project, presented at Mines Paris Research Day 2025, illustrates the key role of research in providing concrete support for the ecological transition.
