Mines Paris – PSL celebrates the 2024 graduating class of its Specialized Master’s programs

On May 16, 2025, Mines Paris – PSL celebrated the graduation of 243 students from its Specialized Master’s (MS) and certificate programs during a formal ceremony held in the Poincaré amphitheater, in the heart of the Boulevard Saint-Michel campus. Chaired by Godefroy Beauvallet, Director General of the School, this ceremony marks a high point in the life of Mines Paris – PSL, paying tribute to the commitment, hard work and success of graduates from programs of excellence accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles.

A diversity of backgrounds and expertise in the spotlight

A total of 14 Specialized Master’s degrees and one certificate program were represented at the 2025 edition. These programs embody the diversity of expertise offered at Mines Paris – PSL, at the intersection of science, management, the environment, energy, finance, and digital technology:

  • DMS – Materials and Structures Design
  • EDI – Deeptech Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  • ENR – Renewable Energies
  • ERC – Expert in Risk Prevention and Crisis Management in Industry
  • GAZ – Gas Engineering and Management
  • HPC-AI – High-Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence
  • EEDD IGE – Expert in Environment and Sustainable Development, IGE option
  • MIRIS – Mineral Resources Industry and Society
  • MISL – Industrial Management and Logistics Systems
  • MSIT – Executive MS Strategic Management of Information and Technologies
  • OSE – Energy Systems Optimization
  • EEDD RSE – Environment and Sustainable Development Expert, CSR option
  • FCC – Finance and Climate Change
  • EEDD ENVIM – International Environmental Management

Each year, these programs attract more than 250 professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including recent graduates, executives seeking a career change, and international candidates. They all share a common goal: to acquire cutting-edge expertise that can be immediately put to use in the professional world.

A moment of recognition and pride

The ceremony on May 16 was followed by a cocktail reception in the Maurice Allais space. This opportunity to get together highlighted the graduates’ achievements and recognized the collective work carried out throughout their studies.

It was also an opportunity to send a strong message to industrial and institutional partners: the Specialized Master’s programs at Mines Paris – PSL are proving to be concrete and relevant responses to the challenges of our time by training the experts and decision-makers of tomorrow.

A pedagogy of excellence, rooted in research and business

The Specialized Master’s programs at Mines Paris – PSL are distinguished by their professional approach. Each program combines 6 to 8 months of theoretical training with 4 to 6 months of work experience in a company or laboratory, culminating in the defense of a professional thesis.

This educational model, combining academic rigor and practical immersion, is made possible by the mobilization of research centers, faculty members, and administrative and teaching staff. Their commitment actively contributes to the recognition of these programs, both in France and internationally.
