Biography

Florent Di Meglio is a researcher whose work focuses on the modeling, observation, and control of complex dynamic systems, with particular expertise in the fields of hybrid systems, partial differential equations (PDEs), and industrial applications. His research addresses a wide range of issues, from the stabilization of exoskeletons to vibration detection in oil drilling, as well as state estimation for nonlinear and hybrid systems. A significant portion of his contributions focuses on the development of robust observation and control methods, incorporating advanced theoretical tools such as backstepping transformations, Kazantzis-Kravaris/Luenberger (KKL) observers, and machine learning-based approaches for the identification of dynamic systems. His recent work also explores the intersection between artificial intelligence and physical methods, particularly to improve the generalization of predictive models in industrial contexts such as drilling or combustion.
