Since its founding, Mines Paris – PSL has contributed to the creation, preservation, and dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge. Through its Mineralogy Museum, its library, and Presses des Mines, the School shares its knowledge with students, researchers, businesses, and the general public.

Its scientific and documentary collections constitute a living heritage that supports research, education, and science outreach. Founded in 1995, Presses des Mines assists researchers in publishing high-quality scientific works and helps make their research accessible to a broad audience.
