Mines Paris – PSL invites you to submit abstracts for the upcoming workshop on inverse problems and geomechanics, which will take place from 30 September to 3 October 2025 at the Geosciences Research Centre.

Abstracts should not exceed 1000 words (references not included). One Figure can be included. Abstracts should be sent to pierre.dublanchet@minesparis.psl.eu by July 10, 2025 (12 PM CET). Your abstract should clearly outline the purpose, objectives, methods (if applicable), and key takeaways of your proposed presentation. Ensure that the content aligns with the workshop theme, and note that abstracts (if accepted) will be published in the conference proceedings (Presse des Mines). Include the name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information of all authors. Please indicate whether you prefer giving an oral presentation (30’ including questions and discussion) or a poster presentation. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the organizing committee, who will attribute the oral and poster slots. For logistical reasons, we are obliged to limit the number of participants to 50. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by July 30, 2025.

We strongly encourage PhD students and Post-doctoral researchers to submit a contribution and participate to the workshop. To facilitate their venue, we provide support for 2 PhD students, covering registration fee, accommodation (in the limit of 120 €/night) and travel (in the limit of 200 €).
