Videoconference with Franck Guarnieri and Sébastien Travadel
The Mines Paris Foundation invites you to a videoconference with Franck Guarnieri and Sébastien Travadel on Wednesday 11 December at 6.30pm on the subject of Mines Paris for the Ocean: an ambitious educational project to train Mines de Paris engineering students in Blue Engineering.
Franck Guarnieri and Sébastien Travadel, teacher-researchers at the Centre de recherche sur les Risques et les Crises (CRC) at Mines Paris PSL and co-authors of the book ‘Petite philosophie de l’ingénieur’ (PUF, 2021), are co-sponsoring ‘Mines Paris pour l’Océan’, an ambitious educational project aimed at raising awareness among Civil Engineering students of Blue Engineering, the technological component of the Blue Economy. This programme offers students the opportunity to become actively involved in major global issues, by mobilising their skills to meet engineering challenges specific to marine environments. The programme enables students to learn about the crucial issues of responsible engineering while working alongside leading players in marine research and protection, thereby enriching their engineering training and their sense of ecological responsibility.
