Knowledge sharing
The sharing of knowledge is an essential extension of Mines Paris – PSL’s research and educational missions. Through its events, heritage collections, documentary resources, and publications, the School helps make the knowledge derived from its research and scientific history accessible to as many people as possible. This approach is part of a commitment to engaging with society and disseminating knowledge to a wide range of audiences.
The Mineralogy Museum, the Library, and the Presses des Mines ensure the preservation, production, and dissemination of knowledge.

Mineralogy Museum
The mineralogical collections at Mines Paris – PSL are among the most comprehensive and spectacular in the world.

Library
The library holds around 200,000 physical documents and over 200 million documents online.

Presses des Mines
These books are aimed at specialists, but are also working tools for a wider audience.

A university-wide initiative at PSL
Knowledge sharing at Mines Paris – PSL is also part of a collective effort within the PSL University. The University develops shared systems for documentation, heritage preservation, and knowledge dissemination among its member institutions, fostering cooperation and the networking of expertise.
In this context, Mines Paris – PSL actively contributes to this shared goal while drawing on its own resources, notably the Mineralogy Museum, the Library, and the Presses des Mines, which ensure the preservation, production, and dissemination of knowledge.
