Biography

Mohamed Sennour is a researcher specializing in the study of metallic materials and their microstructures, with significant expertise in physical metallurgy and advanced characterization. His work focuses primarily on the relationships between microstructure and mechanical properties, particularly brittle fracture, precipitation hardening, and phase transformations in metal alloys. His research covers a wide range of materials, including high-strength steels, aluminum alloys (AA2024, AA7075), titanium alloys (Ti2AlNb), and stainless steels, as well as manufacturing processes such as powder metallurgy and hot or cold forming. He uses multiscale characterization techniques, such as transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and finite element simulation to analyze the mechanisms of deformation, precipitation, and damage. His contributions also include the study of innovative processes such as cold spray and plasma-catalyst interactions for the synthesis of functional materials.
