Biography

Gilles Guerassimoff is a researcher specializing in energy systems and their optimization, with significant expertise in the fields of smart energy management, isolated power grids, and industrial refrigeration technologies. His work focuses in particular on the integration of renewable energy, the modeling of microgrids, and the analysis of how variations in generation affect the stability of electrical systems. He has contributed to the development of innovative methods, such as the use of deep reinforcement learning for the real-time optimization of multi-energy systems, as well as data-driven approaches for detecting refrigerant leaks in industrial facilities. His research also extends to energy cost assessment, carbon emissions reduction, and the prospective analysis of heat recovery technologies—such as heat pumps—in non-energy-intensive industries.
