Marine drones and augmented divers: a partnership between Mines Paris – PSL and the National Nautical Training Center of the Gendarmerie (CNING)

On the occasion of Mines Paris Research Day, Mines Paris – PSL and the CNING formalized a unique partnership. The goal: to strengthen the operational capabilities of the gendarmerie’s underwater divers thanks to innovations developed by researchers and students, notably via ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) designed at the School.

In this video, Lieutenant General Laurent Bitouzet answers three questions about the challenges and next steps for this alliance, which is paving the way for innovations that will enable divers to go further in their missions.
