“Décider” lecture series: 3 questions for Raphaël Schellenberger, representative for Haut-Rhin
Last June, Mines Paris – PSL and Mines Paris Alumni launched “Décider,” a series of conferences with leading political figures to shed light on major contemporary issues.
For this first edition, the School was pleased to welcome Raphaël Schellenberger, Member of Parliament for Haut-Rhin and Chair of the “Energy Sovereignty” Inquiry Commission (2022-2023).
Marked by the major challenges facing his constituency, he has shown strong ambition in favor of national energy sovereignty. He briefly recounts this moment of exchange with students, faculty, and alumni on the long-term challenges related to energy, public decision-making, and the role of politics in relation to science. In this exchange, Raphaël Schellenberger shares a strong conviction: engineers, scientists, and politicians must engage in dialogue to collectively shed light on the societal choices to be made today for the France of tomorrow.
