Bachelor Degree from Rice University – I-BE³

I-BE³ students will be offered a unique pathway to earn a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences from Rice University.

The I-BE³ students interested in getting the Rice University bachelor’s degree, will spend the Fall semester of their third year (Semester 5) studying on the Rice University Paris IV campus with courses co taught by Rice University, ESPCI and Chimie Paris professors. They will apply to transfer to Rice University by October 15, with an early December decision.

They will then transfer to Rice and study for 1.5 years on the Rice University Houston campus.

Rice University Paris Campus

Rice University provides student housing in Paris, located about 30 minutes from the Rice Global Paris Center. Each residence consists of fully furnished, single-occupancy studios, ensuring comfort, privacy, and an ideal environment for study and daily life. Resident Associates (RAs) live on-site to offer guidance and support throughout the students’ stay.
