10% of researchers at Mines Paris – PSL ranked among the “World’s Top 2% Scientists” in 2025
Every year, Stanford University publishes its list of the World’s Top 2% Scientists. This international ranking identifies the top 2% of researchers most cited in their field, based on bibliometric indicators (citations, h-index, co-publications, impact of work, etc.). In 2025, 25 researchers from Mines Paris – PSL appear on the list, reflecting academic recognition of their contributions, in addition to the socio-economic impact of the school’s research.
Mines Paris – PSL researchers among the world’s most influential scientists
Based on data from the Scopus database, this global reference list evaluates more than 230,000 scientists using a composite score that takes into account the impact and influence of their publications in 2024 on an international scale.
While this ranking is an important indicator of academic visibility, it is only one possible aspect of research evaluation, which is also measured by its contributions to society, the economy, and innovation.
