Presentation of the Responsible Software Chair

Mines Paris – PSL is pleased to invite you to the presentation of the “Responsible Software” Chair project, an ambitious and innovative research program led by Georges-André Silber, researcher at the Centre de Recherche en Informatique (CRI).
How can we improve the fundamental open source software used in industry, such as compilers, libraries or operating systems, by making them more frugal and efficient?
Find out the answers to this question on Tuesday November 19 at 6pm during the presentation of the Responsible Software Chair.
Optimizing fundamental open source software brings tangible benefits such as lower energy costs, improved performance, better use of existing hardware and a contribution to innovation.
The companies associated with this Chair will have the opportunity to take concrete action in favor of sustainability, while meeting their immediate needs to reduce their organization’s overheads.
Participation in the Chair is also in line with their social and environmental responsibility, and strengthens their employer brand and visibility. Association with the scientific program gives them privileged access to the teaching and research staff and engineering students at Mines Paris – PSL.
The session will be introduced by Brigitte d’Andréa-Novel, Director of the Institut des Transformations Numériques (ITN) at Mines Paris – PSL.
This event will take place at Mines Paris – PSL, 60 boulevard Saint-Michel, 75006 PARIS.
