Biographie

ZHANG Yancheng est un chercheur spécialisé dans la modélisation numérique des procédés de fabrication additive, avec une expertise marquée en thermomécanique, en simulation multi-échelle et en comportement des matériaux. Ses travaux se concentrent sur l’analyse des procédés tels que le *Laser Powder Bed Fusion* (L-PBF) pour les métaux, comme les superalliages à base de nickel (Inconel 718), et les polymères semi-cristallins, notamment le polyamide-12 (PA12). Ses recherches visent à comprendre les mécanismes physiques complexes intervenant lors de la fabrication, tels que les interactions thermiques, les transformations de phase, les contraintes résiduelles et les déformations, en intégrant des approches innovantes comme les méthodes de *Cellular Automaton* (CA), la plasticité cristalline ou encore les modèles de réduction d’ordre (*Reduced Order Modeling*). ZHANG Yancheng a également contribué au développement de cadres numériques couplant thermomécanique, hydrodynamique et cinétique de cristallisation, permettant une simulation prédictive des défauts et des propriétés mécaniques des pièces fabriquées. Ses travaux récents explorent l’optimisation des procédés hybrides (*Metal Hybrid Additive Manufacturing*) et l’amélioration de la précision dimensionnelle, tout en cherchant à réduire les coûts computationnels via des stratégies de maillage adaptatif ou de modélisation multi-échelle.
