Biographie
Mireille Lefèvre est une chercheuse spécialisée dans l’étude du rayonnement solaire et son estimation par télédétection satellitaire. Ses travaux portent principalement sur le développement et l’amélioration de méthodes physiques et statistiques pour évaluer l’irradiance solaire à la surface terrestre, en exploitant notamment les données des satellites Meteosat et des modèles atmosphériques comme ceux du Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS). Ses recherches incluent également la validation de bases de données d’irradiance (HelioClim, CAMS Radiation Service) à différentes échelles spatio-temporelles, en les confrontant à des mesures in situ issues de réseaux métrologiques internationaux. Son expertise couvre aussi l’intégration de ces données dans des applications opérationnelles, telles que les services climatiques ou les systèmes énergétiques.
