Biographie

Lucien Laiarinandrasana est un chercheur spécialisé dans l’étude des matériaux polymères et composites, ainsi que dans l’analyse de leur comportement mécanique et de leur durabilité sous diverses conditions environnementales et mécaniques. Ses travaux portent notamment sur la fatigue, la rupture et les mécanismes de dégradation des matériaux, en combinant des approches expérimentales avancées, telles que la microtomographie aux rayons X et la corrélation d’images numériques, avec des modélisations numériques innovantes. Il explore également l’impact des paramètres microstructuraux, comme l’orientation des fibres ou la présence de porosités, sur les propriétés mécaniques des composites, ainsi que les effets du vieillissement thermique et chimique sur les polymères. Son expertise inclut le développement de critères unifiés pour prédire la durée de vie des matériaux sous sollicitations cycliques ou statiques, et l’application de méthodes d’apprentissage profond pour optimiser la conception des microstructures.

Enseignements

Matériaux pour l'ingénieur

Chargé d'enseignement

L'activité en présentiel (27 heures) est structurée en séances plénières en amphi (12 heures), en séances en petites classes (PC) (12 heures) à effectif plus réduit, en restitution des TP devant un jury (30 minutes). Elle inclut également l'examen écrit (2h30). Le travail personnel des élèves (18heures) comprend (en plus de l'activité démontage/remontage de moteur mentionnée plus haut) : Un QCM d’auto-évaluation (30 min) sur les pré-requis. Cette auto-évaluation est réalisée en amont du premier cours pour cerner les points forts et faibles des élèves et mettre ensuite l’accent sur certains aspects pendant les enseignements en face-à-face pédagogique. Un devoir sur les diagrammes de phases (2 heures) Un devoir sur le vieillissement des matériaux (2 heures) Des travaux pratiques au CMAT (6 heures) : 13 TP sont réalisés par groupes de 4 à 5 élèves, avec encadrement d'ingénieurs et techniciens du Centre, mais aussi de doctorants, les sujets de TP étant pour la plupart connexes aux sujets de thèse en cours. Restitution orale de 20 min par TP en fin de journée dans deux sessions en parallèle. Les élèves réalisent donc un des TP et participent/assistent à la moitié des restitutions en fin de journée. Deux journées similaires sont organisées, de façon à accueillir l'ensemble de la promotion. Révision de l’examen final (5 heures)
