Biographie
Cyril Voyant est directeur de recherche à MINES Paris – PSL, au sein du centre Observation, Impacts, Énergie (O.I.E.). Ses travaux portent principalement sur la prévision des ressources renouvelables et la modélisation des systèmes énergétiques, avec une attention particulière accordée au rayonnement solaire, à l’énergie photovoltaïque, à l’éolien et à la gestion intelligente de l’énergie. Ses recherches mobilisent des approches statistiques, des méthodes d’apprentissage automatique et des techniques d’intelligence artificielle pour améliorer la prévision de variables météorologiques et énergétiques à différents horizons temporels. Elles concernent notamment la qualité et la disponibilité des données, la prise en compte des incertitudes, la transférabilité des modèles entre sites, l’apprentissage à partir de données limitées ainsi que l’évaluation multidimensionnelle des erreurs de prévision. Ces travaux trouvent des applications dans les micro-réseaux, les systèmes hybrides, le pilotage de la production renouvelable et l’optimisation de l’équilibre entre production et consommation. Son activité scientifique s’étend également au domaine médical, en particulier à la physique médicale, à la radiothérapie et à l’utilisation de méthodes quantitatives et d’intelligence artificielle pour la modélisation des effets biologiques, l’aide au diagnostic et l’analyse de données cliniques. Enfin, Cyril Voyant développe des recherches en métascience et en scientométrie portant sur l’évaluation de la production scientifique, la fiabilité des indicateurs bibliométriques, les mécanismes de rétractation et la mesure de l’influence réelle des travaux de recherche. Cette approche transversale vise à mieux comprendre les conditions de production, de validation et de diffusion des connaissances scientifiques.
