Biographie

Chakib Bouallou est un chercheur dont les travaux se concentrent sur les systèmes énergétiques durables, l’optimisation des procédés thermodynamiques et la valorisation du CO₂. Ses recherches couvrent plusieurs axes majeurs, notamment l’efficacité des cycles thermodynamiques avancés, tels que les systèmes à détente diphasique, les cycles supercritiques au CO₂ et les technologies de power-to-gas. Il a contribué à l’analyse et à l’optimisation de composants clés comme les éjecteurs, les turbines diphasiques et les électrolyseurs à haute température, notamment les cellules à carbonate fondu (MCEC) et leur utilisation réversible pour la production de syngas. Ses travaux intègrent également des approches innovantes pour la capture et la réutilisation du CO₂, ainsi que l’évaluation des performances environnementales et économiques de procédés comme la production de méthanol à partir de biogaz ou la liquéfaction de biométhane. Chakib Bouallou explore par ailleurs les enjeux liés aux énergies renouvelables, en étudiant leur intégration dans des systèmes de stockage d’énergie ou leur couplage avec des technologies de conversion chimique. Emploi du temps de l’option : Découvrir sur le terrain les dimensions et les matériels actuels des industries de procédés, et par des conférences industrielles les compétences, l’organisation et les modes de raisonnement grâce auxquels elles progressent, tels sont les objectifs des périodes de préparation au projet personnel. Elles s’articulent autour de quatre modules répartis sur les 2 semaines en : - 2A - prise de conscience des défis à relever : énergie, eau, santé, nutrition, environnement, mondialisation - et 3 semaines de formation - 3A - bases de conception de procédés, procédés innovants, management du changement en entreprise industrielle. Les élèves réalisent parallèlement des dossiers de veille technologique - captage du CO2 en oxy-combustion, hydrogène et micro-algues ; enjeux/limites de la production d’éthanol à partir de blé ; impacts de l’incinération de nouveaux déchets ; nouveaux pots catalytiques, etc… Le projet personnel, de novembre à juin, met l’élève en situation de produire un travail original sur des attentes industrielles réelles, dans une grande entreprise des secteurs ci-dessus. Les sujets sont soigneusement sélectionnés, en concertation avec l'élève. Le travail est encadré par un ingénieur de l’entreprise, avec les conseils de chercheurs du Département Energétique et Procédés de L’Ecole. 2 semaines d'initiation en 2A et début octobre 3A : "Grands Enjeux"; savoir faire : "Les challenges de l’industrie de procédés dans un PEVD " ; "Voyage d’option’’ ; Octobre 3A : "Bases et Langage des Procédés"; savoir faire : "Les connaissances générales sur l'agencement, la conduite et l'optimisation – économique, énergétique, exergétique -, des procédés et de leurs briques élémentaires"; Octobre 3A : "Procédés du XXIème siècle "; savoir faire : "Aperçu sur la mise en œuvre de nouveaux procédés : décarbonisation de l’énergie, CO2 matière première, procédés plasma, batteries et PAC, milieux nanostructurés, bio-raffinerie"; Octobre 3A : "Management du Changement" ; savoir faire : " Méthodes et outils pour le développement, la gestion et l’amélioration de procédés : Maîtrise des risques industriels, Analyse du Cycle de Vie, Ingénierie de l’Environnement, Ecologie industrielle, Industrialisation et entreprise industrielle.
