Eloïse Berson est une chercheuse spécialisée dans l’application des méthodes d’intelligence artificielle et d’apprentissage profond à la médecine translationnelle et à la biologie des systèmes. Ses travaux se concentrent sur l’analyse multiomique et l’intégration de données cliniques pour améliorer la stratification des risques, la prédiction des issues cliniques et la compréhension des mécanismes sous-jacents aux maladies complexes. Elle a contribué au développement de modèles innovants, tels que des outils de déconvolution de données épigénomiques et transcriptomiques (ex. Cellformer) pour identifier des signatures cellulaires spécifiques associées à des pathologies comme la maladie d’Alzheimer ou la résilience cognitive. Ses recherches abordent également les complications de la prématurité néonatale, où elle a participé à la création d’indices métaboliques prédictifs (ex. *metabolic health index*) pour évaluer les risques de dysplasie bronchopulmonaire ou d’entérocolite nécrosante, en combinant des approches de deep learning avec des données de dépistage néonatal. Plus récemment, ses travaux explorent l’impact des facteurs psychosociaux et des interventions modifiables sur les issues de grossesse, en intégrant des profils immunitaires cellulaires pour guider des stratégies de médecine de précision.
