Biographie

Franck Guarnieri est directeur du Centre de recherche sur les Risques et les Crises de Mines Paris – PSL et directeur de recherche. Il est également membre du Collège des Sciences Navales (CSN), laboratoire commun à Mines Paris – PSL et à l’École des Industries Avancées (EDEIA – UIMM). Spécialiste reconnu de la décision et de l’action en situation extrême, il conjugue une expertise scientifique de premier plan et une solide expérience opérationnelle de plongeur scaphandrier. Ses recherches portent sur la prise de décision en environnements à hauts risques, la gestion des situations extrêmes, la résilience des organisations et l’innovation technologique dans les domaines de la robotique marine et sous-marine. À ce titre, il collabore régulièrement avec les forces armées sur ces enjeux. Il enseigne au sein du cycle Ingénieur civil de Mines Paris – PSL ainsi que dans le Mastère Spécialisé « Expert en prévention des risques et en gestion des crises dans l’industrie ». Il intervient également comme expert-évaluateur auprès de l’Agence nationale de la recherche (ANR) et de la Commission européenne.

Métiers de l'ingénieur généraliste (MIG)

2020 – en cours Responsable

Un MIG est un enseignement personnalisé par projets qui rassemble un groupe de 12 ou 14 élèves encadré par des enseignants-chercheurs de l’Ecole autour d’un problème complexe qu’il s’agit de découvrir dans ses principales dimensions, bien sûr scientifique et technique, mais aussi transversales (socio-économie, gestion, droit, environnement, … selon le domaine traité) . 10 sujets différents vous sont proposés. Ils reflètent tous l’actualité des thèmes de recherche développés par les centres de l’Ecole et l’industrie. Les défis à relever par les élèves à travers ces 10 projets s’inscrivent dans des grands enjeux de l’industrie du futur et de la société : De la Transformation à la Gestion des Ressources Energétiques, Data Science et Applications Innovantes, Extraction des Matières Premières et Impact Environnemental, Conception et Matériaux pour l’Aéronautique et l’Automobile, Ingénierie de la Médecine et des Soins Hospitaliers Chaque sujet de MIG est abordé sous forme d’activités complémentaires et imbriquées au cours d’une période intensive de trois semaines : - des visites d’entreprises, des conférences et des cours - une période d’expérimentation et/ou de modélisation dans un centre de recherche ou en entreprise sous forme de mini-projets réalisés en sous-groupes. De plus, chaque groupe d’élèves synthétise collectivement les travaux réalisés sous la forme d’un rapport écrit et d’une soutenance orale devant un jury professionnel. Cette restitution vous permettra de mieux percevoir toutes les dimensions du sujet abordé et d’approfondir le travail en équipe.
