PERSEE – Mines Paris – PSL is pleased to welcome Pablo Díaz Cachinero, Assistant Professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, who will be visiting the center for four months to collaborate with Professor Georges Kariniotakis, Dr. Simon Camal, and Claire B.

Pablo works on optimization problems related to the integration of electric vehicles in distribution networks. His research focuses on developing distributed solution methods that can make these problems easier to solve and reduce computational time. He is particularly interested in how new optimization and data-driven techniques can support the operation of future electricity systems with high EV penetration.

During his stay at PERSEE – Mines Paris – PSL, Pablo will continue exploring these topics and contribute to ongoing projects in energy systems modelling and optimisation.

We are happy to have him with us at PERSEE.
