PERSEE at Paris Energy Week 2025
The Paris Energy Week will be held from 1 to 3 December 2025 in Paris. The event will gather academic researchers, policymakers, industry actors and students to discuss current issues and developments in the global energy transition. Ten years after energy became part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the sector faces new dynamics linked to geopolitical developments, resource constraints and industrial challenges.
As part of the programme, Prof. Vandad-Julien Rohani, who leads the Thermochimie et Plasmas (TeP) research group at the PERSEE Center of Mines Paris – PSL, will take part in the session dedicated to alternative fuels.

During the same time slot, another panel will address the evolution and challenges of the European Emissions Trading System (ETS) in global climate governance, with contributions from EDF, Dauphine – PSL, Université de Créteil and France Stratégie.
