This hands-on and interdisciplinary project focuses on the deployment of renewable energy solutions in developing countries, with real case studies in Vietnam and Madagascar. It provides students with the knowledge and tools to address the complexity of implementing sustainable energy systems in diverse economic, legal, and social contexts.

The aim of this module is to equip students with the skills required to manage international energy transition projects, particularly in regions where access to clean energy remains a challenge. Students are invited to step into the shoes of a project manager, navigating the entire project lifecycle — from conception to implementation — while incorporating environmental and social dimensions.

How to respond effectively to a call for tender in an international context?

How to build a viable business model for green energy projects, incorporating not only technical and economic aspects but also ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria?

What are the operational risks involved in deploying PV and storage solutions, and how can they be anticipated and mitigated?

This training offers a holistic perspective on renewable energy deployment, where success is measured not only by financial performance but also by long-term social and environmental impact.

To complement the theoretical and strategic components of the module, students visited a rooftop photovoltaic power plant located at the Semmaris building in Rungis, designed and operated by GreenYellow France. This visit provided a tangible example of urban PV integration in a business context and opened discussions on energy efficiency, operational challenges, and smart energy management systems.

We would like to warmly thank our industry partners for their insights and engagement :

Solène Nouvellon and Perla Tannous (GreenYellow),

Sébastien Prioux, Jean-Baptiste Béoutis, Aimilios Orfanos, and Simon Camal, for their active contributions and support throughout the module.

By combining technical, managerial, and socio-environmental dimensions, this project perfectly illustrates ISIGE’s mission to train professionals capable of leading the ecological and energy transitions at both local and international scales.

[15
20
post-2552","actualites","type-actualites","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry

Bridging Technical Innovation and Sustainable Development
