Il mobilise des outils issus de diverses disciplines, notamment la thermodynamique, la m\u00e9tallurgie physique, la cristallographie et la physico-chimie du solide.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019enjeu principal est de comprendre comment les mat\u00e9riaux \u00e9voluent dans le temps et sous l&rsquo;effet de contraintes externes afin de :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ma\u00eetriser les <strong>ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes de transformation de phase<\/strong> et leur impact sur la microstructure.<\/li>\n<li>Anticiper l\u2019\u00e9volution des <strong>textures cristallines<\/strong> lors des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de mise en forme.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9tudier les m\u00e9canismes d\u2019<strong>endommagement et de rupture<\/strong> \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle microstructurale.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9valuer l\u2019influence de <strong>l\u2019environnement<\/strong> (temp\u00e9rature, corrosion, irradiation, champs \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tiques) sur les mat\u00e9riaux.<\/li>\n<li>Concevoir des <strong>alliages innovants et des traitements thermom\u00e9caniques optimis\u00e9s<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Th\u00e9matiques de recherche<\/h2>\n<h3>Ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes \u00e9tudi\u00e9s<\/h3>\n<p>Les travaux du p\u00f4le GEM s\u2019articulent autour de plusieurs ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes fondamentaux qui r\u00e9gissent l\u2019\u00e9volution des mat\u00e9riaux :<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"container bloc-50-50\">\n\t<div class=\"row mt-4\">\n\t\t<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Transformations de phase<\/strong> : \u00e9tude de la solidification, de la diffusion, de la germination et de la croissance des grains pour comprendre et contr\u00f4ler la structure finale des mat\u00e9riaux.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>D\u00e9formation et recristallisation<\/strong> : analyse des m\u00e9canismes de d\u00e9formation plastique, de migration des dislocations et de croissance des grains pour optimiser les traitements m\u00e9caniques et thermiques.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Physique de l\u2019endommagement<\/strong> : compr\u00e9hension des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes d\u2019amor\u00e7age et de propagation de fissures, de l\u2019alt\u00e9ration structurale et des m\u00e9canismes de rupture \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle microstructurale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Effet de l\u2019environnement<\/strong> : impact des contraintes ext\u00e9rieures (oxydation, corrosion, irradiation, temp\u00e9rature, champs \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tiques) sur la durabilit\u00e9 et la solide et interactions avec l\u2019environnement<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"container block-full-largeur\">\n\t<div class=\"row mt-4\">\n\t\t<div class=\"col-md-12\">\n\t\t\t<h3>Optimisation des microstructures : diff\u00e9rents leviers d\u2019action<\/h3>\n<p>Afin de contr\u00f4ler et d\u2019optimiser les microstructures des mat\u00e9riaux, plusieurs strat\u00e9gies sont mises en \u0153uvre :<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"container bloc-50-50\">\n\t<div class=\"row mt-4\">\n\t\t<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Proc\u00e9d\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9laboration et d\u2019assemblage<\/strong> : ajustement des param\u00e8tres de fabrication (fusion, solidification, d\u00e9p\u00f4t, etc.) pour influencer la microstructure finale. \u00a0En lien avec la plateforme EPROM, la fabrication additive est un outil privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 pour l&rsquo;\u00e9laboration de microstuctures innovantes, hors \u00e9quilibre, permettant de revisiter les relations microstructures-propri\u00e9t\u00e9s d&#8217;emploi.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conception d\u2019alliages innovants<\/strong> : d\u00e9veloppement de nouvelles compositions m\u00e9talliques ou polym\u00e8res offrant des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques et chimiques am\u00e9lior\u00e9es.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Traitements thermo-(m\u00e9caniques\/\u00e9lectriques)<\/strong> : modification des mat\u00e9riaux par traitements thermiques, m\u00e9caniques ou \u00e9lectrochimiques pour ajuster leur r\u00e9sistance, leur ductilit\u00e9 et leur durabilit\u00e9.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Ing\u00e9nierie des interfaces<\/strong> : ma\u00eetrise des transitions entre diff\u00e9rentes phases ou mat\u00e9riaux pour am\u00e9liorer l\u2019adh\u00e9rence et la tenue m\u00e9canique.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Traitements de parach\u00e8vement<\/strong> : ajustements post-fabrication pour optimiser les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de surface, la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l\u2019usure et la protection contre l\u2019environnement.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Mat\u00e9riaux \u00e0 gradient, multicouches et rev\u00eatements<\/strong> : \u00e9laboration de structures complexes permettant d\u2019adapter progressivement les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques et thermiques en fonction des sollicitations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"container block-full-largeur\">\n\t<div class=\"row mt-4\">\n\t\t<div class=\"col-md-12\">\n\t\t\t<hr \/>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Synergies et collaborations<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le p\u00f4le GEM travaille en \u00e9troite collaboration avec les autres p\u00f4les du Centre des Mat\u00e9riaux :<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.minesparis.psl.eu\/cmat\/recherche\/pole-simulation-des-materiaux-et-des-structures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">P\u00f4le SIMS<\/a><\/strong> : interaction avec les chercheurs en simulation num\u00e9rique pour mod\u00e9liser l\u2019\u00e9volution des microstructures et pr\u00e9dire les comportements m\u00e9caniques.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.minesparis.psl.eu\/cmat\/recherche\/pole-mecanique-experimentale-materiaux\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">P\u00f4le MEM<\/a><\/strong> : travail conjoint avec les sp\u00e9cialistes en m\u00e9canique exp\u00e9rimentale pour valider les mod\u00e8les et confronter les r\u00e9sultats num\u00e9riques aux observations exp\u00e9rimentales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les recherches men\u00e9es au sein du p\u00f4le GEM s\u2019int\u00e8grent \u00e9galement dans un r\u00e9seau international de collaborations acad\u00e9miques et industrielles, visant \u00e0 transf\u00e9rer les avanc\u00e9es scientifiques vers des applications concr\u00e8tes dans des secteurs tels
